Scarves or Belts?

I purchase this amazing hand-spun on Etsy from Knitty Dirty Girl a week ago. I purchased the only skein available and had no plans as to what to knit with it, but fell in love with the colors and the description/name:
""Tame Mountain Lion Lecture" 80 yards Handspun Yarn
Thick Thin
An random collection of whimsical textures and softness
superwash merino, tea dyed wool, wool, silk, bling, scrap yarn, lots of farm wool, and misc. recycled materials"

It arrived this last weekend and I decided I wanted to knit the Sarah Keller's Tapestry Scarf.
I knew I didn't have the yardage so now I am stuck with a super short scarf/belt...

Any suggestions? I was thinking I could put some cute buttons on it and wear it as a waist belt over a black dress or something...let me know...
xoxo,
S.

A belt would be super cute!! Especially with buttons.

I have no suggestions, but I love it. Can you eke a neckwarmer out of it (again, with buttons)?

Hey, don't look at me! I don't know the first thing about knitting. I stop by to visit Luigi and learn a bit about fashion...and to hear morea about your running and biking adventures. Sorry!

Oh wow! That's some very cool artsy yarn. Knit a pair of short fingerless gloves. That yarn is cool.
